hello vj community!

im a little confused as to what to do now. i  received a letter from the consulate in Montreal saying the office is processing the visa case and in order to continue i need to visit a site that gives me packet 3 instructions. so i go there and  look at the instructions. it says i need a  "Confirmation receipt with barcode number of the completed Online Immigrant Visa Form DS-260."

so my fiancee already completed the DS-160 and now i they want the DS-260, ok thats fine, so i go to the ceac.state.gov site and enter my case # and invoice I.D. so we can start on the packet.

i keep getting this message after i try to log in:

Summary Information

K visas are nonimmigrant visas that assist spouses or future spouses of American citizens in entering the United States. As with all nonimmigrant visa applicants, a DS-160 must be filled out in order for a consular section to process the case.

soooooooooo.... she already completed the DS-160. im confused on what to do and how to get the DS-260 done!

lol i just figured that out. they sent me one saying DS-260. i just went to the k1 packet 3 instead. when it says to provide a scanned copy of the below "packet 3 checklist for k1 applicants" so we just leave the form blank and scan it? we have everything on the list. should we check everything off and have my fiancee sign it and put our case number and date before we scan it?

Check it off, sign it, email it back.
