So your case was complete April 7th, 2005 ?? Or your case is not complete yet ?

I know my case has been complete since September 2005 and we have not received an interview date yet. Why ? I don't know. How come ? I don't know. What's the hold up ? I don't know. I wrote to my senator and am hoping to get some ansewrs through them. We'll see what happens. At least you know what the hold up is ... I have no idea. :crying:

NOA #1 - March 23rd, 2004

Interview- May 18th, 2006 (Success !)

Arrived in the US - May 27, 2006 (our IR-1 visa journey was 2 years and 2 months long)

Wedding - June 17th, 2006

It's a Girl ! Baby Hana's expected due date - March 30th, 2007

It doesn't seems that my case has completed since every time i called the NVC automatic system, i am told that they got all my doc on 4/7/05 and should wait 6-8 weeks to get it completed. It has been serval serval 6-8 weeks and i have no idea how long it does take to get through the back ground check in DC. :crying: SOOOOO SAD!!! :(

It took us 6 months for security checks in Washington, that was before we got the NOA2, we are now arriving at NVC.

I wont wish you patience, as you probably ran out of that by now.

September 15 - 2005: NOA1

October: Waiting

November: Waiting

December: In Security checks

January 2006: Waiting

February: Waiting..Contacted Congress

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

AOS

October: 13th: Sent off AOS Package

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

December 14th: Biometrics completed.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.

Our case and Hafiz case is also like this. It is somewhere in Washington DC awaiting some type of checks. You cannot find out anymore information and will have to wait out the processing. I feel for you and can only say to pray for patience. Senator inquired for us and we are told in AP and that is all they will divulge. Good luck.

Same for me. Our case hase been in security check since last May. :crying:

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)
