got K1 AOS interview within just 4 months after filing 2017

i got scheduled for AOS interview on k-1 just on 4 month after filing.i have not even gotten EAD/AP yet. is this normal thing and should i be worried?cos my wife and i just started our life and base on this sudden interview and no ead to support her financially, i wonder how this will benefit us. i am worried!

How fast you get your interview depends on your field office wait time. The sooner you have the interview the better! She will have her green card faster and will not need ead/ap - this is a good thing!  Congratulations :)

I had this, i was happy because a lot of others that applied at the same time as me were being given an interview waiver letter so were having to wait around a year to get their green card which delayed when they could apply for citizenship as the time you have to wait only starts once you get the green card.

it happens sometimes

Similar happened to me filled 01/17/2017 interview 06/12/2017

but I already had my EAD. Either you have EAD before interview or not it doesn't change anything really. I saw some people here getting GC before EAD
