Effects of change of marital status on category of visa

I live in pakistan and my father is US citizen. When he filed my case in 2011 i was unmarried means F1 category . Now i have recevid NVC letter to submit fee with same F1 category. But confusion is that i have got married last year and i have a seven months baby too but on my national id card i havnt chnage marital status so far. Anyone please tell me that will my category ll be immediately changed and case ll go to hold for more years if i disclose my new family?? What should i do?

your  dad has to notify nvc  that your marital status has changed. you don't qualify to file under the F1 as soon as you married you changed category from F1 to F3, with your case number you dad has to write to nvc and attach copy of your marriage certificate and copy of your child's birth certificate explaining the case to change your category, and about 5 more years or more of waiting, but your wife and child will immigrate with you

Your case will change from F1 to F3. The time already spent in F1 will carry over, so you aren't starting over completely.

 

Your father should notify NVC of your change in martial status so they can update their records. It would be fraud to try to get or use a visa that requires you to be unmarried while you are married. You must still meet the conditions of the visa as of the time you enter the country.

 

There's a case on here very recently of somebody who did exactly this by marrying a month before coming to the US. Now he's likely going to be deported, and everybody who obtained an immigration benefit because of him are likely to lose their statuses as well.

Yes, you are permitted to visit if you can get a tourist visa (or have one already). You need to show sufficient ties to return home (job, property, family, etc. that need you back home).
