My wife had her interview yesterday and the status changed to issued late evening. We decided to receive our package here in CD Juarez so we can get it quicker at the ASC(same place they take finger prints.  I have hear some people don't get the waybill number and just show at the pick up location and they sometimes have it. Has anyone recently picked-up theirs without a waybill once status changes to ISSUED.

Thank you

Have you tried callling?

I haven't. I think I will try today after lunch. Hopefully I hear from them today. We are eager to leave good thing we are going to be able to return. A few people who missed things like original birth certificate where not approve right away, but were told to go get it and once they had it they would approve. My wife was only asked for 2 things: original birth certificate and original marriage certificate, but she did hear other people being asked for things like: additional affidavit of support because the one they had didn't cover the amount on the house hold size. Taxes, and one person if they had bank account. My wife was able to hear 10+ interviews before her turn. Your wife will too. You can listed to everything and know right away the agents that are friendly and the ones that aren't. She said there was this guy that everyone was praying not to get. He wasn't necessarily denying but he was unprofessional and unfriendly. Like if he was working for free or was forced to work there. To her surprise most are under their 30s. You would think that something that can change your life forever would be handled by someone in their 50s. Crazy thing is that some agents would even make jokes which is good. But good thing that when we prepared the 601a and now the interview we prepared for the toughest in each department. In other words people should go with all they got. We had a little trouble and were stressed about the Mexican police report which at the end they didn't asked for, but we have no regrets because some people were asked for it. So it's always better to have extra everything.

Congrats on getting approved, and thanks for giving us an update on how it went. We  have ours in about 3 weeks, confident yet somewhat nervous on this life changing decision. If you don't mind please update us when you are able to pick up the package.

Our interview was on Wednesday. Email on Friday at around 1pm with tracking number. We went but they said to come back in an hour. In the mean time we packed and booked a hotel a few feet from the El Paso airport. Got the package and asked one of the taxi drivers to take us to the Zaragoza bridge and he said that he could go into El Paso. Took about 2 hours to get the stamp. Cap driver waited patiently(got a tip). We checked in at the El Paso hotel around 6:30.:jest::jest:(wife&I) We will leave tomorrow on an non-stop flight to Atlanta.

Thank you. I will not tell you OOOO don't worry Don't be nervous because its not the same when someone that already on the other side of the fence tells you. We where told a lot not to be nervous but it didn't work. The best thing to do is just to be prepared with your documents and have at least that peace of mind.

And if it makes you feel any better a lot of people get approved. Like %90 percent and a lot of the ones that don't get approve on the spot  are told to just bring whatever they are missing and they will get approved. With your 601A in hand and no record their isn't really anything that will prevent your wife from returning. They need to have a legal reason to not allow her back in.

Hi Zurdo,

I got the letter for my spouse interview but there is nothing on finger printing. Do you get a separate letter?

You have to make the appointment for fingerprinting they don't make one for you
