Hi ,

I am on J1 visa , I finished the residency and the fellowship on 6/2017. On 10/2016 I applied for the hardship waiver , on 4/2017 they required another evidence , on 7/12/2017 the department of the states received the I-612 and I-613 , currently I extended my DS2019 till the end of October to take the board , and idea about the usual processing time for the department of the state to send their recommendations back to the USCIS?

Are you on a J1 because you are an MD? It depends on why you got the J1 to begin with.

 

It will probably take 6-8 weeks from the moment they get all your evidence. You should check that everything gets to them and appears online. I'm waiting for a J1 waiver (not MD) and the reason why it got delayed was because they lost one piece of evidence!
