Hi guys,

Thank you for reading this. I want to ask you for help with filling out the I-130 form. Yes I know that there are a lot of instructions and samples, but unfortunately I can't find any information related to my case.

I'm currently in the US with a pending asylum status, which means that I applied for asylum and still waiting on the interview. I have a SSN, an A-number and a work authorization permit.

Recently I got married with a US Citizen and we are trying to fill out I-130 form and I have a few question about "Beneficiary's Entry Information" part.

They are asking if I'm in the US right now, and class of the admission (I had a B1/B2 visa when I came into the country and the given 6 months of being in the US already had expired).
46.d Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, or shown on I-94 or type or print "D/S" for "Duration of Status".
---- Is Asylum Pending situation the "Duration of Status?" or I should use "Expired?"

Also the part "Additional Information About Beneficiary".

53. Was the beneficiary EVER in immigration proceeding?
       - So I suppose here I should answer Yes, because I have the pending asylum case and this is an immigration process. Right?

54. If you answered "Yes", select the type of the proceeding:
       1. Removal, 2. Exclusion/Deportation 3. Rescission 4. Other Judicial Proceeding
       - And here I don't know what to pick because no judicial decisions were made.

So what does this "immigration proceeding" section really ask?
