I have a few questions regarding traveling to the USA from Canada while in the process of filing for a K1-Visa.

First off what should I have in terms of information to ensure I am able to be admitted to the USA. I would like to stay with my Fiance for a good chunk of the wait period and I am afraid to be turned away at the border. I do not have a job due to mental health issues which means I have to depend on various family members as well as my partner and his mother to be financially stable, which for them isn't an issue. But for the border officer it seemed to have been last time I had tried to enter. I have only tried to enter twice with being denied. One on record and the other nothing was filed in terms of paperwork. Those times where at an airport. The first time I had gone to America was last year and I stayed for 3 months. I entered through one of the land borders because we drove back to my partners home vs flying, I had 0 issues with that attempt. I was let in and my passport was not even stamped I was just let though.

All I really would like to know is how should I proceed. I do not want anything to interrupt the Visa or the process or somehow not be allowed back for x amount of months/years for any reason. I want this all to be done properly so I can very soon start my life with my partner. Should I attempt to cross the border again via car or should I just try to wait in Canada until the Visa would be finished? (I really do not want to be without my Fiance for too long, It's painful to not have him around.)

Thank you in advance for all your advice.

So, you've been denied before? What was the reason that time?

We've all had to wait with many of us not even having the ability to visit during the entire k1 process. You have to be patient.

I'd suggest waiting until the visa process is done or have the fiance visit you in Canada. Having a pending visa application in the states and trying to come in could cause a denial of entry as you are an intending immigrant.

The reason before was because I did not have enough money to support myself, Apparently it did not matter that I had someone willing to support me. My Fiance is here with me now but he has to go back shortly and I would like to go with him as to not be apart for very long.

Well if you're still not working then your situation hasn't changed. Why would they let you in this time?

You can't be supported during a tourism visit, you have to have your own finances for that.

Your situation hasn't changed, so even if you did try to go they wouldn't just change their minds from the last time.
