K1 aos interview?

Anyone in here with K1 status gotten a letter for aoS interview  without receiving his or her work permit first ? Pls let me know We just received a letter for an interview next month .just curious what to expect we thought there was no interview .

It happens to quite a few people, yes. Once you get your greencard they will cancel your EAD application as you are no longer in need of an EAD.

 

Many K-1ers don't get AOS interviews, but many also do. Seems to be a 50-50 thing.

Oh OK thank you so much my husband and I didn't know what to think it's  just unusual is like they skip a step when my husband is not even workin. Do   you happen to know or heard it from someone what they ask???

Just normal questions. I was interviewed yesterday and got this type of questions: 

 

-My full name
-My address
-My DOB
-My husband's name
-The wedding date
-My nationality
-What I used to work with in Sweden
-If I had been married before
-If my husband had been married before
-If I had children
-If my husband has children
-He asked my husband what he does for a living
-What my plans are here in the US (like work and such)
-My education level
-My husband's education level
etc.....just regular normal questions

And then he asked the questions from the i-485 (if I was a terrorist, spy, prostitute, alcoholic, drug user, communist, criminal past, if I had applied for a greencard before, what date I entered the US on my K-1, if I had travelled outside the US since etc..).
