June 5, I received my NOID. On June 7th, I sent a rebuttal evidence which was received by USCIS on June 15th.

July 11th, my case was reaffirmed. I received my reaffirmation letter yesterday. It took less than a moth to get case reaffirm.

My question is that, how long does it takes from being reaffirmed to second interview? Ghana

Could I ask you why they denied your case? And what additional evidence/rebuttal did you send back to USCIS?

How long have you been waiting to get a second interview? It looks like you got a second interview within 3 weeks? Or am I reading your timeline wrong?

Case was denied because:

1. They said we got married on my first trip to Ghana. Yes that was true, however I knew my wife before I moved from Ghana to the US so that trip wasn't our first meeting.

2. They said my wife couldn't answer the question of what I do for living here in the US. that was false.

3. They said my wife didn't know where I shop at. Of cause she never been here how is she supposed to know. My wife said African market for groceries but consulate officer wanted actual name of the store which my wife couldn't tell.

4. They also said my wife had a baby with someone else. Yes its not a crime to marry someone who has a baby. Kinda stupid lol

They also said my wife could not describe our wedding. I'm shock!!

These were the reasons for not issuing the visa.

I wrote 4 pages letter to address all this issues.

Evidence I sent with the rebuttal was remittance slips like MoneyGram slips, Joint tax returns (yes my wife has a tax ID number so we file together for the past two years) Life insurance documents my wife as the beneficiary, my 403K income with my wife as beneficiary. A lot of pictures before and after our marriage. 4 trips to Ghana since we got married. I sent copies of my trip tickets. Facebook screenshots of family and friends congratulating us when we got married. Almost 200 pages of What'sApp charts. I also had two friends write letters for me to testify that our marriage is true.

I can keep going and going, but what I want to tell you is that, Ghana embassy denies people with no valid reasons. Don't give up if your in the same situation.
