hi need help in answering I485 form (new). My grandfather petitioned my family many years ago. However, when he died, the petition automatically got revoked before its approval. Should I answer YES to this question? I don't have the exact date as to when it got revoked although I could probably put my grandfather's date of death as a reference date. Appreciate your advice on this. Thank you.

 

PART 3 QUESTION 1 

"Have you ever applied for an immigrant visa to obtain permanent resident status at a US Embassy or US Consulate abroad?"
