Heres the following message I got from AIT recently.

In order to verify my qualification for this visa........

Hope everything will be completed soon.

I just still wondering why the old lady in AIT office gave me back this pink slip paper on my interview date.(written ref to FPU...)

The pink slip coming from other asian country us consulate...

Your understanding is correct that your immigrant visa application is still undergoing administrative processing in order to verify your qualification for this visa.  At this time we are not able to predict when the processing will be completed, however if there is any update or if we need additional information, we will contact you.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Regards,

Unfortunately, AP has no time line nor limit.  It can last days, week, or months.  You can only wait until AIT has reached a decision.  Fortunately, my wife didn't have to deal with the infamous old lady in AIT during her interview......

Good Luck...
