Hello all.

I just spoke to the NVC  to get an update on my RFE.  They had quoted that it would take 11 weeks to process the RFE.  At this rate, my 11th week would have ended on August 11, 2017.  However the processing of my RFE just got completed a few days ago on July 14, 2017

So, it looks like they are processing a bit sooner than they are quoting. I recommend everyone who has been quoted an 11 week  wait time to call the NVC and get an update.  Their phone number is (603) 334-0700

Once the NVC has completed processing, the next step is to get scheduled for an interview date. NVC receives a list of available time slots from the  US Embassy/Consulate every month. And based on that is when you can expect to get an interview date. The NVC is not able to advise how soon an interview date will become availalble.

Good luck to everyone !

RFE is Request for Evidence and I thought that term is used at the USCIS stage/step.  The NVC usually requests the document to be sent and if they require any additional data/info then its called a Checklist.

The 11 weeks is to review the documents sent to the NVC.  My friend received a checklist on his 11th week.  The NVC claims the police report is missing and he swore he sent it.
