The so-called president is beginning to lose its audience.

Trump Seems Much Better at Branding Opponents Than Marketing Policies

promo-375.gif

Donald J. Trump, the master brander, has never found quite the right selling point for his party’s health care plan.

He has promised “great healthcare,” “truly great healthcare,” “a great plan” and health care that “will soon be great.” But for a politician who has shown remarkable skill distilling his arguments into compact slogans — “fake news,” “witch hunt,” “Crooked Hillary” — those health care pitches have fallen far short of the kind of sharp, memorable refrain that can influence how millions of Americans interpret news in Washington.

Analyzing two years of his tweets highlights a pair of lessons about his messaging prowess that were equally on display as the Republican health care bill, weakly supported by even Republican voters, collapsed again in Congress on Monday. Mr. Trump is much better at branding enemies than policies. And he expends far more effort mocking targetsthan promoting items on his agenda.

I personally love the branding of Pocahontas's the most. Crooked Hillary is pretty great also.

Both so appropriate.

I guess there is a real Indian running for Pocahontas's seat. He even sent her a free DNA kit. Obviously, she will never do a DNA test as we know what the results will be.

It will be the fake Indian vs. the real Indian.

It's the reason why he's a terrible president. He may be good on giving his opponents labels but he sucks at being a leader, having plans in place to craft policy. He's reactive rather than proactive.

I find his labeling and childish games tiring and stale, but I guess I'll have to agree, though his labeling is generally pathetic and sad, he is 'better' at that than he is at policy.

That's really his trademark. Just make up words and facts, and go with it. He's best suited for a job at a state fair, or some reality show. Definitely not WH material.
