My wife has applied for a visa to bring her mother here to US. The visa interview has been scheduled for the end of August. I know there is a courier fee. Is there a fee for the interview? Is there a fee for the visa? Is there a fee for the medical at St.Lukes? What does she need to bring to the medical? Thank You All in advance

No there is not a courier fee, that is included in the visa fee.  You paid the visa fee through NVC before they scheduled the interview.

What is needed for the visa interview is listed in the embassy instructions letter:  https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/IV-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-365KB.pdf

More info here:  http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/immigrant-visa-application.html

Yes there is a medical fee.  You mother is completing an immigrant visa?  If so she will need a copies of the DS-260 confirmation page and the NVC appointment letter, plus her passport.

Here are more details for the medical:  http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/medical---slec.html

Yup no courier fee.. this is included in the visa fee you paid prior to interview appointment.

Medical fee is Php 16042.50 for adults.  Cash only.

I'm not sure if it will be the same as parents petitioning overage children but if it is.. then there's USD 220 for the physical green card which you need to pay after you receive the immigrant visa on your passport and the visa packet.

This thread brings up a great question.  Is there a single place to find info on all of the fees for this process?

There is the USCIS fee, the medical, etc....  Is there one place that just lists all fees needed.  I am bringing Rose and her two teenagers so the fees add up quickly.  I want to make sure I budget correctly.  Medical will be around a $1000.  I believe there is a fee with the DS 160 ($265 each) the travel tax, the CFO...am I missing any?

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Nope there is not one place with all the fee listed.

There is not a USCIS fee again until after everyone arrives in the USA and you are married, then the FEES add up again for sure.  Luckily you can include the children with your wife's filing if things are done in a timely manner.  You will have AOS and ROC... then finally Citizenship.

The fees in your situation are times 3.

Medical is P16,043 (about $324 at the moment) for adults, and with children over 14 years of age you pay the adult fee on the medicals.

Visa fee is $265, no fee for the DS-160, and yes you pay that for each person.

CFO is about P400 each if memory serves.  Children complete PDOS

Travel tax is P1620, don't know that you will get the discounted rate for the children because of their age.

There is a link in my signature below, from there are links to CFO, USEM and SLEC where you can check their fees also.

- lastly it would be better to start a new topic with your questions rather than hi-jacking a topic      Just a suggestion.

Thank you sir. This place is an amazing collection of information. I am so glad I stumbled upon it. Hopefully this will also help others with fee questions.

I am planning a visit since the I-129 approval estimates are slipping quickly.  It seems like I will need to leave them 100,000 PHP ($2,000.00±) so they have everything in place for the required fees for the three of them.  I guess this trip will be good as I can bring copies of the original paperwork and the exchange rate there will be much better than here.  I can't wait to see them.  I hope things start moving better soon.
