Hi Guys! Good news I got a letter yesterday and my mother's petition is approved. My PD is July 17 and Texas Service Center.

Weird, I was hoping to get an email and text message cause I set it up like that when I made an account in USCIS.

Anyway! July filers, you gonna get that letter soon! Goodluck to us.

Congrats Lane! Praying next august filers, TSC

Received our NOA2 approval today!

Texas Service Center.

Our PD is July 18.

NOA2 dated 1/31, so our wait was almost 6.5 months exactly.

Good luck to everyone still waiting on NOA2 - not much longer now! Looks like Texas is serving mid-July, at least.

Good news indeed. Congratulations!!! Glad that the 6.5 months wait is over for you. Interesting to see that they didn't send an email or text message. Good to know that so we don't expect that and despair :) Good luck with the next steps. Please keep updating how those go as well. We will do the same.

Excellent news! Congratulations.

Yes, looks like Texas is definitely processing mid-July, likely even end of July. If this processing speed continues, Aug filers should see some activity by end of Feb.

Everyone, please keep the updates going. It is awesome to hear about approvals and other updates. Makes the long wait bearable.

I will post all my progress on NVC stage once I started so we can all compare and help each other finishing this immigration journey. :)

That sounds great!

That's correct, I forgot to mention, we did not receive any text or email notifications either. Also, the USCIS Case Status page has not updated (but it sounds like that is generally unreliable anyhow). Our Case Status page still says "we've received your petition" like it did back in July.

Yes, weird cause I checked the case status page almost every day for an update. So guys don't rely on the USCIS Case Status page it is not updated.

Nope, I haven't heard anything from the USCIS. Mine is at Nebraska which is slower than Texas. I'm not sure. I know that NSO gets their documents from the City Registrar so maybe if your mom can't get a better copy from NSO, she can try going to the local city registrar where you're born.
