For those of you who got approved by USCIS, how long did it take to obtain invoice ID from NVC? Petition got approved on 4/2, got the second notice on 4/6, just called NVC again today and they still didn't get it. I know they say it takes 4 weeks on the notice and NVC actually stated 6 weeks, but what was your timeline on that. It comes from Nebraska service center if that makes any difference. Thanks

Did you get your date yet?

I got NOAA 2 on Feb 23rd, and just called the NVC. They said they only received the case on the 16th April, and it would be between 6 to 8 weeks until I get the case number!  I am not sure what happened between the 23 Feb and the 16th of April!

They also say that to me to wait for 8 weeks but I just called them at least once a week and I got my case number within 2 weeks (After the 30 days of waiting as stated in the NOA2)

Question....my mother in laws NOA2 was on 2/16/18 and sent to the NVC.  As of now we have heard anything since. We are in no hurry to speed up the process by calling the NVC to get the case # and start the online process but I am beginning to worry a bit.   I see that others seem to be in the same boat. I'm guessing/hoping that these are somewhat normal processing times and we should continue to wait for the letter or email or should I call the NVC?  Btw yesterday I did send an email to the state/dept inquiry like the letter said but haven't heard back yet.

They actually good in relying on the emails but you got to wait for more than 7 days before you can get a reply. I recommend you call them.

I waited 4 weeks then I called 3 times before I got my NVC case number.

Basically, 5 to 6 weeks since NVC received the papers from USCIS.

If it is 4 weeks plus additional 5-6 AFTER NVC receives papers, that is a total of 9-10 weeks after NOA2. That is insane
