I noticed that they tend to send duplicate emails as well.

does your DS260 open yet? I'm worry about my IV fee. they took my $ from bank account, but the status online still "PAY NOW".

Nope, we got the same status. I paid and it was already deducted to my bank account. Also, say PAY NOW but in payment receipt, it says IN PROCESS.

Seriously? It seems like NVC is having so many problems lately, first backlog for case number, now double invoice for fee. Is Anything else waiting for us? :((

Question guys, so we don't need to include the DS 230 form in our IV Packet since it was replaced by the DS260. Am I right? 

 

One more questions, do we need to include a passport size pictures of our beneficiary in our IV packet?

No DS230, and no passport size pictures to NVC, but you will need the pictures at your interview. Still no update for IV fee :((

Called them and they said upto 1 week (as always), and they said don’t worry about the status “pay now”, since the $ has been taken from bank account.

Hi guys, just an update. I called NVC because the fee is still not changed yet. It is a week today. They told me to email them about this including the bank statement. I just did. In case you guys want to email them as well. Here is the format the guys told me

to: asknvc@state.gov

subject: “case number”

in the mail

petitionor name

beneficiary name and date of birth

 

tell them who you are, what is your relation with this case and the reason of your email.

attact the bank statement.

What I do not understand is why some people are getting approved from the same service center within 6.5 - 7 months and others are waiting for over 8 months already. Isn't it supposed to be "first come first served"?
