We checked the status of our case at the NVC and it says "In Transit" and the message box literally says "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center." but we haven't gotten anything my wife and i checked our emails and nothing! what should we do now? we haven't received the Interview appointment letter

Country: Jordan.

Embassy: U.S embassy in Amman, Jordan.

Married: May 28, 2015.

Interview Date: Aug 17, 2017.

Interview Result: Approved.

VISA Received: Aug 21, 2017.

U.S Entry & Passport Stamp: Aug 25, 2017.

Permanent (Green) Card was produced: Oct 9, 2017.

Permanent (Green) Card was mailed to me: Oct 11, 2017.

Received My Social Security Card: Oct 29, 2017.

First Job in America: Dec 21, 2017.

Received Plastic Green Card in the mail (Permanent Resident Card): Mar 16, 2018.

N-400 Applied: May 28, 2020.

N-400 NOA: June 1, 2020.

Bio: June 19, 2021.

Interview: July 23, 2021.

Ceremony: Aug 13, 2021.

It's a standard message anyone sees, no matter what visa. Ignore it. You will be either able to plan it yourself or receive an interview date by the Embassy. 

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

 

Naturalization                                                        
09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.  
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

Since it's in transit, that means they have a date scheduled for you. NVC is really slow to relay that information to you. You should be getting an email or letter in the mail soon with the date and time.

ROC

5/3/19 - Dropped package at UPS

5/6/19 - UPS ship package

5/7/19 - Package is delivered

5/10/19 - NOA1 Issued

5/13/19 - Check is cashed

5/14/19 - NOA1 received in the mail

5/24/19 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

6/4/19 - Biometrics appointment

6/6/19 - Case is updated online with "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"

5/5/20 -  Case is updated online with "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"

1/19/21 - Appointment to get passport stamped

Thank you for replying we just got our interview date by phone and they told us they're going to send the interview letter within a week. :)

please call nvc. you supposed to get interview letter before this message. because  i have same case and first i got interview letter then i got this message in transit and now  it says ready for interview for

We did call and they gave us our interview date and said they're sending the letter within a week :)

ok thats good you will get it then.yes i did something  i called they gave me interview date over the phone then next couple  of days i got email for the interview date.

You should check the email address that u sent to Nvc

I got my appointment letter through my email.
