Hi all,

My fiance had his medical on July 14th at Knightsbridge Doctors. They requested further information on a diagnosis (nothing terrible). They made it sound super easy, just a matter of asking his doctor to write a blurb and emailing back to Knightsbridge.

Well, upon going to his GP my fiance was told it could take up to weeks for this "report". His interview is meant to be July 27th - obviously, that's probably not going to happen. Crystal clear on how to reschedule an interview - not worried about that.

[However!]

My questions are as follows:

  • has anyone ever had to follow-up with Knightsbridge via email, and if so, what was your experience like in terms of their responsiveness? Any risks?
  • has anyone had to request an extension on the I-129F? His priority date is May 14th, so his four-month window terms in early September. I am a worst case scenario kinda gal, so want to know what the heck happens if it takes the whole of August for this GP report?

Y'all are great.

Thanks,

Jeni

I'm not too sure about your first question, but in relation to your last question:

- If going to your interview at the embassy after your NOA2 priority date, London Embassy will accept an updated letter of intent from yourself the petitioner and this will act as an extension :)
