When to do medical test

Hi all, 

I'm still waiting for my interview date and wld like to know if am suppose to walk in for my medicals. Or is it the embassy that will notify me to go for my medicals (lab test)? 

Kindly help me with this information if you have any idea about it.

Well if the nvc is sending your interview appointment then wait , because you need that appointment letter to show the centre you going for the medical before they accept you in for the medical. But now those with fiance schedule their interview date online and if you happen to be one of them you will have to schedule the interview and take the confirmation page to the medical centre. So in all what I mean is the medicals is a walk in but you have to have a document to show you are really going for an interview there. And mind you, if you are going on K1 and schedule your interview make sure you do the medicals wen the interview is a month ahead not soo many months ahead so that your medical can have a long life span before it expire.

Scheduling the medical is the beneficiary's responsibility, they will receive no notification to do so from the Embassy.
