Hello fellow K1ers!

We have been approved for a K1 visa and my fiance is coming here from Morocco Inchallah on July 20th, this Thursday.

For Morocco K1 filers, can you help me do a gut check? He just needs:

1. His passport with the K1 visa inside,

2. The sealed envelope,

3. The CD of the xray from the medical, and

4. A copy of his vaccination record from the medical.

Are we missing anything?

In addition, I booked his flight through Royal Air Maroc from Casa to Washington DC Dulles using my credit card. I entered all his passport and visa info, but I tried to call RAM and see if there are other requirements, and I couldn't get through. Do we need to do anything else?

I want to thank you all for posting and helping - this website was my lifeline through this process. I am so scared we forgot something and so excited that he is finally coming Inchallah!

-Maddy

Firstly, congratulations! I think that's pretty much it that he needs :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

As said above, it sounds like he is good to go! Those are the same documents my fiancé will be bringing from Morocco to the US as well when he flies on the 27th. Passport info is usually all that is needed to book the flight. Congratulations! :D

He should bring a copy of his birth certificate (and translation)

and any school records he may have

all POE wants is the passport with visa stamp and the packet / make sure he does not open it

Have you already paid the visa fee?

BTW royal air maroc is often not on time / they'll get him here but don't worry if late

he is allowed 2 23 Kl checked bags and 1 carry on

this is site that will help with info
