Hello, I am new to this group and I have few questions and would like to get some answers, ( Same Sex Dating )

June 2017 I went to Cuba and l met someone. We are talking everyday since June... I know everything still new and infatuation But in September 2017 I am planning to visit him again.

Here is the first question.

1- There is 12 categories you can visit Cuba one of them ( Family ) Can l say he is my Fiancé ?

2- Do you think they will give me hard time when l come back to U.S? ( I am a U.S Citizen )

If everything goes well. ( No less then 6 month ) I am planning to apply Fiance Visa for him and bring him here. its really costly to visa Cuba. I am trying to get to know him, His family etc... I like him a lot and my feelings true and my intentions clear. I feel the same way from him.

Does anyone did a Same Sex Marriage with a Cuban?

Hope to hear from you.

Thank you.

Hello, member (Lover37).  Hope everything is well.  My fiance is also from Cuba, we met last year and now we are getting ready to submit the K-1.  As for your question about returning to Cuba and if the category (Family) also a will apply for your fiance.  At this time not sure with the new/changes that probably will take place sometime in September 2017.  I'm currently looking into what if anything will change for us to be able to travel to visit and our love ones.  By the way, my name is Hector from New York, send me an email to hectormorales1967@gmail.com if you have any other questions I can share everything I have learned so far and I will also post here my fiance and I journey.

The problem is that the Obama rules are pretty black-and-white, and if Trump's new policy goes into effect, travel for person-to-person reasons will be off-limits entirely!

Even now, you can travel to visit family (including fiance), but lying about this may land you in hot water. General tourism/vacation (including relationship purposes) is not allowed unless done through a tour group.

I read "still new and infatuation", "Can I say he is my fiance?" and "I am trying to get to know him" in one quick pass... so it's quite clear to me (and I may be taking a big assumption here, so forgive me) that you are NOT his fiance. In this case, you're asking here if you can have permission to lie to customs about the reason for your travel, and I don't know of anyone here willing to give you the nod on that or who will say it's a good idea.

It would be much easier if you could both meet in a country that does not have these restrictions, both now and when the new policy changes take effect.
