Goodmorning to you all,

I have a question about EAD

I arrived here in US last month on a K1 visa. Now that i am married to my wife, i will like to apply for adjustment of status.

A friend told me about vj community this morning but i got confused with the answers i got about the EAD. I found two similar questions with one, to answer YES and another to answer NO.

EAD form i-765:

Question 19b have you ever been arrested. What should i answer?

Ds 160 , asked similar question and i answered YES. But on the EAD i dont understand if its applicable to me. Question 19a talked about categories. So i am lost here. My category is c 9.

Form i-485 (application for permanent residence) i marked yes because it asked if i have ever been arrested in or outside the US. This is understandable. Please i need your kind opinions.

Yes Georgia. I marked yes on form i-485 application for residence permit. Since the cause of arrest is not a serious issue but on record because i went to court for it and my k1 visa was approved without being asked questions about it during my interview, do you think it will delay my work authorization.
