My mother is green card holder , she try to petition me but we failed because Im not her biological daughter . In my National Statistics Office she is my mother but my father is unknown ,, when she apply petition for me she dont say to the congress woman the person who help her that im not legally adopted .. what do we do i want to go to my mother please help

1. You should start your own thread.

2. She is a green card holder... NOT A US Citizen.

 

You say you're not legally adopted and you're not her biological daughter.... So even IF she was a US citizen she wouldn't be able to petition you.

Well that depends on whether your her biological or adopted daughter, and it also depends on your age etc.

If you are not legally adopted, then there is no petitonable relationship at this point.

How old are you?

How long ago did your adopted mom get citizenship and how?

Is your bio mom and/ or dad still alive?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Unfortunately there may not be an option for you. If you are over the age of 16 then it will be too late for her to adopt you for immigration benefits because 16 is the cut off age.

 

A US citizen can only petition biological or legally adopted children.

She has not adopted you.

 

So what is the relationship?
