I am making a statement, not an accusation.

Learning from my life experience at this age, spending time with someone you do not truly love is not worth it, or anything.

Best of luck.

I'm no expert, and I don't mean this to be disrespectful, but the thought 0 to no chance come to mind.  On top of that if I were your case worker and you both lived down the street I would say marriage doesn't sound like a good idea.  Way too many obstacles and challenges to overcome.

Does your fiancee really understand that once you get married, and if you get a job, she may LOSE benefits? Welfare and food stamps are given only to the poorest people.

Getting married as soon as you meet (ie. the first in-person visit), DOES happen...but it can raise a red flag.

The age difference, her not being able to financially support you as the US citizen (since she is receiving welfare benefits) doesn't help and can raise more  flags.

Her disability would make no difference to the outcome of your case.  Or at least I hope IOs aren't going to start judging marriage validity based upon whether or not a person has a disability, because that would be wrong on so many levels.

Can a marriage with all the above be proved as valid, if it's a true marriage?  Sure.

A long way in proving that is probably not getting married the very first time you meet in person, and instead taking time to build on the relationship.  Works out in your favor and hers actually, because then you get to know the person you're with better :).  After a while being together, you won't find the "proof" part so hard.

I'm not judging you here, just giving some advice.

I read something like that and it actually makes me sad...I saw this video that went viral (many here probably saw it at some point) about this American women engaged to a marine that got arms and legs amputated wile overseas and she married him regardless of his missing body parts, when I saw it I thought "wow, she really love the man inside of this body, the man that she carries on her back  every single day"...and when I see your post I think "do people really know the meaning of loving someone?"

You can only use one sponsor per immigrant other than the petitioner.   Co sponsors are accepted at the option of the officer that determines if you get a visa.  I have seen spouses of long term social service beneficiaries be denied because no matter the co sponsors income they feel that in that atmosphere there is a high probability that the immigrant will also end up taking benefits.  Unless they are reasonably assured that the immigrant will not the visa will be denied.

As to your relationship itself.  It is highly probably that you will be denied.  It is not the cultural norm for a male from your area to marry an older divorced woman, ;let alone one that is disabled. It will seem that you went scouring the internet or asked your friends to pick someone out that was desperate for a companion. Then marrying with little face time shows that you weren't developing a relationship just setting the cards in order to apply for a spousal visa.   You are looking at a path that will probably include an initial denial and a long AP if you go back a second time.  It may be 3-5 years before you get a visa if ever.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

that will raise a red flag for sure 20 years older and that she's handicapped and on welfare all i see is red flags

Would you see it as a red flag if the man was older and disabled, or would you be high fiving him for for scoring a younger woman?

I'm 21 years older than my husband and disabled. My husband had no problem getting his visa, we've been happily married for almost 6 years and he's now a citizen. I was not on welfare of any sort, but that isn't reason for a visa to be denied, they can get a joint sponsor. Many people on this site told me as soon as my husband received his 10 year green card he'd be gone. Then they told me as soon as he became a citizen he'd be gone. No one scoffs when a man is 20 years older than his wife/significant other, but when the tables are turned people act as though it's a mortal sin and accuse the woman of being "a cradle robber" or a "pervert". I'm so over those generalizations on this site.

A visa cannot be denied based on age, religion, gender or social status. We have a vetting process and no matter the relationship the must prove they have a bonafide relationship. That is the biggest hurdle to overcome.

if she's on welfare and does not work how could she afford a airplane ticket?

I really don't see what that has to do with any of this. How she obtained a plane ticket is none of your business and has absolutely nothing to do with the questions at hand. The OP asked what kind of visa to apply for and if they would have a problem getting a visa because she's on welfare. Stop harassing the OP.

a question to ask and hope it's not too personal i know egypt is a muslim country are you muslim and is she muslim or is she christian? some embassies look at religious and cultural difference's and if they are too different they can cause a red flag

OMG STOP!!!! My husband is Muslim and I'm Catholic. Muslims can marry Christians. Period. Why are you trying to scare the the OP? You really need to get your facts straight, read my first post to you.

You are 100% wrong. Ask me how I know? I'm disabled and 21 years older than my husband. He's Muslim, I'm Catholic and divorced with 2 adult children. We married the first time I visited him. My husband is now a US citizen and we've been happily married for 6 years. My husband didn't have one single problem getting his visa, or his citizenship. We did the process on our own and never had as much as an RFE from the day we sent his I-130 up to and including the day his took his oath.  Why are people in this thread discouraging the OP? Your opinion is exactly that, an opinion. Instead of passing judgement perhaps do a little research and post facts.

Because the world has changed a lot since you married your husband in 2011. It's not as easy as it was back then.

Hmmm, I'm 21 years older than my husband and disabled.. He's from the same part of the world as the OP and I find it quite offensive that you would think because his soon to be wife is desperate merely because she's older and disabled, that the OP is somehow automatically a scam artist and couldn't love her. What makes you think because of those reasons that she's somehow desperate? Do you know her?  Speaking for myself when I met my husband I was not desperate nor am I now. I'm educated, independent and strong.  After I divorced my first husband I dated a physician for a few years and it didn't work out. I met my now husband online and we were married within a year and 6 years later he's a citizen and we're happier now than when we met.  I find it very disappointing that in this day and age people still think the way they do about a woman being older and/or disabled. It doesn't make a person desperate. I'm living proof of that.

Um no. it has not. I am "in that part of the world" every year, in fact I am leaving for Jordan next week, I'll be there for 6 weeks. Please please PLEASE do not tell me what that part of the world is like, you haven't a clue unless you've been there. My God, people need to stop reading fake news.
