I'm starting to get so stressed out about this! It's been a week since I called the NVC to get my NVC case number. I called last July 6th. They couldn't give it to me since the date Of birth did not match. They told me to email them a copy of my birth certificate and passport biopage, which I did right away.. We send them an email almost everyday, because everytime we call, it's still not yet updated. -___- now, next week is 2nd week since they created our case number.. I noticed everyone's receiving their hardcopies on the 2nd week. Now I'm worried we won't get it. Does anyone of you didn't receive any hardcopy? I hope someone has experienced the same and still received a hardcopy 😣 We dont know how are we going to get the case number if we don't receive the hardcopy ☹️

Hey @Yzabelle! One should be able to obtain the case number by calling them. That's how we got ours before the hardcopy letter came a few days after that.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Me and my fiancé keeps on calling them almost everyday yet it's still incorrect. That's why they can't give it to us. We're just waiting for the hardcopy letter. ;(

Wow that sucks :( Do you think you guys can request to speak to a supervisor or something? If this was USCIS level, your fiance can easily make an infopass appointment to see someone. I'm so sorry :(

@Yzabelle I googled and found a bunch of VJers having the same issue as you. If you guys can get ahold of a supervisor there might be some movement. On the other hand, based on precedence, NVC will usually refuse to do anything leaving you stuck as experienced by you now. Worse comes to worst, if they will not provide you with a case number and your fiance does not get the hardcopy notice, just contact your embassy by email inquiring about their receipt of your case file. Try and provide your WAC number, your name and your petitioner's name. See if that gets you anywhere with the embassy. At the interview, you can get the wrong DOB corrected just like I'd need to get my name corrected next month with my embassy :) Best of luck!!!

We already emailed the embassy last Friday, too, since we never heard anything from the NVC.. I will tell my fiancé to call again by Monday and try to talk to their Supervisor. I hope they will let him talk to the supervisor. I'm actually starting to get worried. I hope we still get a hardcopy. :((
