Hey everyone, I'm getting pretty anxious about my I 485 status.

I'm now on H1B visa and applied for AOS via I130 by my husband(he is citizen) and I485. It was delivered and signed on 7/5 at Chicago office. However I just realized that instead of sending one check with $1225, I sent 2 separate checks for $1140 and $85.

It's been 10 days since the package delivered, and I keep seeing people who got package delivered later than me getting check cashed, but I haven't heard anything back. No check cashed and no text/email.

Super worried about what's happening. Can anyone share some experience for the check thing? Thanks so much.

7/20/17- Mailed application package out(I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765)

7/22/17- delivered to USCIS Chicago office

7/29/17- received 4 text/email receipt with case number

8/3/17- received 4 mail receipt

8/4/17- received biometric appointment letter for 8/15 in San Diego( so much earlier than I expected!)

Hi, when I filled my application for AOS I was very anxious as well and my entire package ended up coming back to me about 10 days after delivery because I used an outdated form of the I-130....I printed everything again (not only the new I-130) and resubmitted my form using the original 1 check of $1,140.00 and one money order of $85.00. They cashed both about a week later.

Don't worry about it, you're fine with 2 checks. ;)

Peace!
