IR1 Case Transfer to Abu Dhabi

I have transferred my wife's IR1 case from Doha to Abu Dhabi at the very final stage due to some issues. We were told that we can ask for extensions before the final case interview as long as we do not pas the 2 year mark. I have checked the case status, and it was transferred to Abu Dhabi Embassy 30th of June 2017, yet we have not received an appointment date. I've read some reviews here saying it takes very long for appointments, which means we might pass the 2 year mark we've been warded not to, any advice?
