Wait time to Interview? Then how long for Oath ceremony?

Hello VJers,

 

I am very green in the application process for Naturalization. USCIS has cashed my check and they now have my application, but that's as far as it goes. My questions are: Approximately how long could I anticipate waiting before the interview? And after that, again, how long is the wait until the Naturalization ceremony? I can't tell if the N-400 timeline for my local office (Seattle) is all-encompassing for both the interview & ceremony, or just one or the other.

Based on the information, my best guess is that the Seattle field office is currently processing applications filed around Dec 2016 - Jan 2017 - meaning that interviews are being scheduled for those applicants. Perhaps at least another 6 months before you will get an interview date. As for the oath ceremony, it is much more difficult to tell. Some were able to do same day interview/oath while others had to wait at least a month afer their interviews.
