I absolutely LOVE beer, love the taste, love it! If I could I'd drink like water, well if it had no calories and no alcohol I would definitely drink more than water, but unfortunately that's not possible.

 I agree with Nessa!!

I like Heineken but not the one they sell here @ US, I like the one that they sell in The Netherlands. I find it less filling and not so bitter :P

Belgium.

Duh. :P

Swirl is right, and I agree, and it's an unbiased non-Belgian opinion! :P Actually when one of my best friends was living in Brussels, I went to visit and I tried three different beers. Nobody told me that each was equal to three American beers. They tell me that I spoke amazing French that night, but all I remember was the floor of the bathroom. ;)

I agree about the American microbrews, and Gareth loves Pete's Wicked Pale Ale also.

I'm more of a stout fan myself. (And I like my whisky--that's Scotch to the rest of the world--peaty, too.)

The one thing to be careful with 'round here is that New Mexicans, who put chile sauce on everything, have somehow decided that putting it *in* beer is a good idea. It's not. I love green chile sauce as much as any native, but not in my beer!

Between you and me................I'd definately go with Czech beer over Australian any day of the week. :P

And thanks for the explanation, no doubt Australian beer is more well-known in the States. Oh well, we are just a teeny tiny little beer drinking nation in the belly-button of Europe...
