F2A Spouse I-130 2017 filers

hello everyone! my husband filed i-130 f2a.. he received a notice that uscis received the petition application. however, received date was july 21, 2010, but filed it last year which is july 2017.. another concern of us is that the priority date was blank. Do we need to wait another noa? or does it mean that there is missing document?

If you haven’t already, you should definitely contact them as that seems wrong. You should have a priority date.

I just checked the processing time for i130 in USCIS website. It shows sep 30th 2016 now. Yesterday it was November 11th 2016.. the estimated period was 15 to 18 months yesterday and now it shows 15 to 20.5 months

Our PD is mid April 2017. The date for Calif seemed to move one day at a time and I was getting hopeful as it had moved up to Nov 2016 last month.

 

Now it reverted back to Oct 2016.  Not sure how long the wait is going to be with the back and forth movement.

Don't lose your hope, it still moves 1 day at a time, that particular movement is made by the coding in the website. Right now it is already on October.

 

However, the recent update of dates is the first that has been made since the new website was implemented. USCIS has been spending time and making a lot of changes in the last few months, they just need to be settled and move things again.

 

I would estimate for your case to be processed around September or October this year. I sincerely hope to be wrong, and that it gets processed before that, but it gives us strength to have a date in mind, a date of the time we would have to wait.

I'm a permanent resident and I filed the F2A for my husband. my PD is Nov 14, 2017.

However, when I checked the case status online, it still shows that the case was received.

 

It didn't indicate whether it's been approved or not. My question is does that sound normal?

Yes that is very normal. You are in for a looooong wait. They are still approving December 2016 cases and have not reached 2017 yet. My PD is April 6th, 2017. My case was accepted (received) 428 days ago and I have no approval yet.

I’m wondering when my pd is expected to be current. My pd is June’2017. And I put my date in some estimator online which is telling my case is expected to be complete in sept’19. And this is what making me super anxious! What do you guys think? When june’17 is going to be current, any estimates?
