when we apply the application he was a green card holder. 2 months ago he became a US citizen and we update our case, and now at NVC they are working my case as a wife of US citizen.

NOA1 is the first notice of approval, meaning the letter you receive after you first file and get the receipt number. NOA2 comes much later - depending on your service center (California is taking around 20 months), so notice of approval 2 is the letter you receive to say petition approved we will send to NVC etc etc July 2017 is still a few months away yet - I saw this morning the first April 2017 approval so I'd say 3 months from now you could be getting your approval :) Hope that all makes sense lol

Hi Sherydenise, that’s a clear explanation, thank you so much ☺️ Are you approved? Whats your pd? ☺️

You're welcome :)  My PD is 13 February 2017, we were approved in October (online said 22 October but the letter said 19 October) and my husband called NVC today, they received our file on 2 November but no case number yet, should have it by the end of the year though!
