Subscribing to this thread, even though my wife and daughter's PD is Jan 31, 2018
if all goes at a normal pace, they both should be here in 1 year 2 months time if i am correct.

It currently seem there is no way to have them visit me once a while.

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

next: waiting anxiously for the mail...

I’m not sure if you’ve tried it yet but a few have mentioned that the online portal(the one where you sign up to the account and get slightly more detailed information gets updated much much earlier than the portal or the actual letter that arrives. Maybe you could check it out.

The visajourney blog predicts that you should have it by now so maybe call hem up too.

RFE 13 September 2018

Evidence (husbands green card) received 27 September 2018
Approved 22 October 2018 😁😁

So Happy!! Now on to the next stage of the process!

Why did they send you an RFE for the husband green card? You didn't send a copy when you filed I 130? I though you have to submit LPR evidence of the petitioner either copy of green card or copy of the passport with the immigrant visa.

Thanks

He did send it, they just probably lost it during the 19 months we spent waiting to hear anything. So he just sent it all again.

I'm February and was just approved one week ago. You could be approved this week, or it could still be one month or more away. The waiting sucks, but it will come! Just give it one month and if you haven't heard by then try calling them.

my PD is April 7,2017. does anyone know how much should I wait more? although I had send update for my case that my husband is now a US citizen but nothing showed up for now, is that normal???

Could still be a couple more months away. Did your husband notify USCIS that his status has changed to citizen? I'm not sure but its possible it could speed things up, although I really don't know.
