Thank you. My husband has received the approval trough regular mail yesterday.

Congrats! That's music to my ears! I've heard about Jan filers getting NOA2 but this shows it's moving, slow and steady. PD is 04.27.17.

Hello, does anybody know what comes after you get the approved NOA2? How long after that for getting the interview and finally the Green Card?

We filed 8/27/2018 and received the NOA1 last week with priority date of 8/27/2018.

Approx 3 months until the NVC transfers the case to the concerned embassy. Green card arrives in 2- 4 weeks by regular mail once the person is in the U.S.

.... then what happened after you filed I130?

With my younger sibling...

8/27/18 is the priority date

8/30/2018 Received NOA1

8/30/2018 Last Updated - (based on online case status inquiry)

9/14/2018 Last Updated - (based on online case status inquiry)

**** THEN what's next? Should I be getting anything on the mail?, or just stay put and wait for his interview? *** thanks

Current processing time for such cases at the Cali service center is 18 - 23 months, meaning it will take that long to get your NOA2. You can follow the link and select which service center your case was filed at to see for yourself.
