So whats the longest period you guys have gone without being touched? I'm not counting waiting on the namecheck, 'cause I know that that can take a couple of years....

Whats the longest you've been without a touch after the biometrics but before the interview?

2/23/07 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago

2/25/07 - Package arrived in Chicago

3/05/07 - Checks cashed

3/05/07 - Received NOAs for I-765, I-485, & I-130!

3/09/07 - All touched

3/10/07 - Received biometrics appt letter

3/12/07 - All touched

3/13/07 - I-130 & I-765 touched

3/15/07 - I-485 touched

3/15/07 - Received email informing me that an RFE has been mailed to me about the I-485

3/19/07 - Received RFE for I-485 in the mail.

3/20/07 - Biometrics appt

3/21/07 - I-485 & I-765 touched

3/23/07 - Mailed back RFE with signature confirmation

3/26/07 - RFE was delivered to Lee's Summit, MO & was signed for by "Ashley Love"

3/27/07 - Received email saying that RFE has been received at MSC and that case processing has resumed

3/27/07 - I-485 touched

3/28/07 - I-485 touched

4/17/07 - I-765 & I-130 touched

4/18/07 - All touched

4/19/07 - All touched

5/10/07 - I-765 touched

5/14/07 - Received interview notice in the mail! Interview will be on July 18!!!

5/15/07 - I-765 touched!

5/15/07 - Received email saying that EAD card production has been ordered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5/16/07 - I-765 touched

5/19/07 - Received EAD in the mail!!!!!!!!

5/21/07 - I-765 touched

7/18/07 - Had interview in Memphis, TN! GC Approved!!!

7/23/07 - Received Welcome Letter (with notice date of July 19th) in the mail.

7/24/07 - Received Card Production Ordered email!

8/02/07 - Received Permanent Resident Card!!!! No more USCIS until 2009!!!!!

Wonder how long people go without getting a touch on their EAD....

2/23/07 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago

We are waiting on EAD and Green Card... signed up on the USCIS website, have gotten notices in the mail....but never the email notices of "touched" or anything like that. How do you get down with that? I signed up for email notification for both cases, but haven't gotten it. Is that what you mean? People are always commenting on it, but I don't know how they get that info.

K-1 Journey

May 2003: We fell flat on our faces for eachother.

November 2004: Decided this was really worth making it work.

April 2005: Chose to be together for ever.......just had to figure out how.

October 14, 2005: I-129F sent to NSC by DHL from Habana

October 24, 2005: NOA 1 recived

November 17, 2005: NOA 2 recieved APPROVED!

December 21, 2005: Recieved by NVC

December 30, 2005: Sent to Habana

Janauary 05, 2006: Interest Section calls to say package arrived & appt. to pick up super packet

January 10, 2006: Went to Interest Section to pick up packet

April 24, 2006: Interview Approved under condition we were not moving to Miami (interviewer was hilarious)

April 25, 2006: Picked up visa & Began the carta blanca drama

June 08 2006: Won battle for the carta blanca what a stressful month.....

June 11, 2006: POE Miami through Cancun

June 21, 2006: Enough of Miami cruised up to MN

August 25, 2006: Married in the backyard under the most gorgeous sky!

April 25, 2007: EAD arrived!

May 22, 2007: Recieved email, I-485 PENDING at CSC

Touches are only recorded when you log into the USCIS website https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

They won't send you an e-mail when you are touched, they will just update your case # and let you know the last time that your case was "updated" (from here on out refered to as touched). You can also just see you LAST touch, so you have to keep checking it daily (hourly if you are like me tee hee), to see when it updates. Mine was last updated post-biometrics on 04/03/07. My EAD hasn't been touched since before biometrics - 03/23/2007

AOS:

2007-02-22: Sent AOS /EAD

2007-03-06 : NOA1 AOS /EAD

2007-03-28: Transferred to CSC

2007-05-17: EAD Card Production Ordered

2007-05-21: I485 Approved

2007-05-24: EAD Card Received

2007-06-01: Green Card Received!!

Removal of Conditions:

2009-02-27: Sent I-751

2009-03-07: NOA I-751

2009-03-31: Biometrics Appt. Hartford

2009-07-21: Touched (first time since biometrics) Perhaps address change?

2009-07-28: Approved at VSC

2009-08-25: Received card in the mail

nothing since March 24th. I know touches are not supposed to mean anything. Maybe someone just ran out of reading material to use while answering mother nature. But for some reason, it gives me some hope that it's being looked at by someone, for whatever reason, it's not just sitting there collecting dust.

I wopuld not worry about being touched or not. It means nothing. I did not get touched from Nov 7 and two weeks ago received a letter for interview and last week received a letter to correct name. Never been touched or anything on the USCIS website for these actions. I have seen on the website, notice of interview being cancelled. I have not received a letter in the mail. I will ignor this information on the website. Their system is worthless as far as I am concerned.
