Also, when applying under the 3 year rule on paper, can I just include the last 3 years of info (addresses & employment)?

okay guys! I posted last week here that I just applied online 1/6/18. and today 1/13/18 I received another update that they scheduled and mailed my biometric appointment already. just gotta wait for it.

I'm from Alaska by the way. My friend took forever before they scheduled her biometric appointment and she applied thru mail.

Good day everyone - we are trying to file online based on marriage and green card date of 4/14/15; our 90-day early filing window opened today so we went online - one of the questions asked listed eligibility dates up to April 13, 2015. It looks like the system did not update yet for today, the 14th. Does anyone know how long it takes for the system to update to the next day? Does it have to wait until a business day since today is Sunday? Thanks!

Hi all,

I'm trying to submit form N-400 online, but keep receiving an error message ("USCIS is temporarily unavailable") when attempting to upload the required evidence (PDF, file size within stated requirements).

I composed a message using MyUSCIS to inquire about this problem, but when I hit sent, the system went back to the login page. I doubt the email went through.

Has anyone else experienced these kinds of issues with the site?

I will be filing under the 5-year-rule.

Thank you for your feedback!

Best,

Judith

If such things happen (fail to apply online, due to technical difficulty), can we abandon the online application process and mail out the paper work?

Sure, as long as you don't hit "submit" at the end of the online application, or submit payment online, then USCIS never receives it.

  • 1 month later...

I just sent my online application with no issues. Yesterday I got a letter in the mail saying my 751 RoC was transferred to a new CS over a year after I filed. Hopefully I'll have my citizenship in 96 days like @Going through :D

Submitting your N-400 application online is faster, I would have probably got done within 3 months but due to snow day(in New Jersey) they had to reschedule my interview out by a month, so took me about 4 months, having said that submitting online is much still much better, current and update.
