In all fairness I wouldn't react too if I was desperately looking for some valuable input, and I get 'funny' answers.

TO, if you are still reading I hope you can use the tips given by several people and good luck with the trip.

Honestly, people need to grow a thicker skin and move on. Can't see them have much success functioning in the world if they can't handle someone being obnoxious. Ignore it and move on. Plenty of good answers, no need to get hung up on one person.

Maybe that's what she is doing. ignoring it and moving on.

Fact is that some answers are unnecessarily and don't add anything informative that is being helpful to that person or to anyone else for that matter.

Better hope it really isn't an emergency then.

Why are you even here if you are not going to be helpful?

because my answer was correct to the question they asked. there is nothing preventing the person from traveling home.

if the us is thier home then they are already inside and are free to move as they chose.

if thier home is outside the us there is nothing preventing them from leaving the us and returning home.

You do realize that your "advice" is awful to give someone with little to no knowledge of the situation? If your "advice" is to get someone to leave the country and not be able to come back you're in the wrong forum.

Nothing or no one will/ can prevent them from leaving but without AP they most likely can't come back into the country and the AOS will be considered abandoned and therefore cancelled. End of story.

Not really good advice...
