You will receive your green card if approved at the interview instead of an EAD/AP card first. You will soon get your interview letter in.

This might not mean much. It's ready to be scheduled for an interview and now depending on your field office it can still take several months to get an actual interview date. This doesn't affect your EAD or AP in any way. For example my status changed saying the same on April 11th. Now according to the field processing times of my office in SAn Diego I won't be getting an interview before like October or November. All that this notice says is that they are fowarding your AOS documents to your field office and you are in queue to have it scheduled. Look at your field office processing time how fast it might get scheduled.

@Dutchster It says it is READY to be scheduled not that it is scheduled ;) People sometimes still wait a year after they see this status change

I know how to read, thank you very much. I should have worded it differently maybe but it definitely means she will most likely receive her green card before her EAD/AP.

You should get your EAD/AP combo card in August/September, they are currently running behind a bit.
Getting notification that your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview can mean you likely have to wait several month to a year
or over depending on your field office, some people get the GC before they get the EAD but mostly this drags on and on.
You can also get another notification that your GC was approved without the interview (yes, even if it says scheduled for one),
then they send a interview waiver letter and some do not even get a letter.
With AOS it is all over the place and inconsistent. I see a lot of posts of K1 cases dragging on a year or more and many not having
interviews.

@Ebunoluwa Have said it all. Your case is ready, doesn't mean they are ready for you at the field office. Mine have been on since August 15, 2016. Still waiting for a date.  EAD can be approved before the interview. AOS does not have a fixed pattern, as what works for team A might not be applicable to team B.
