What was she supposed to do, the first one did not work out.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

She didn't need to. She likely had already made up her mind before you arrived.

Is this the right time scale? 12 months ago you were about to marry an American and move overseas. In 12 months you have split up, met someone else, decided to marry him, decided to move overseas for him and gone through the whole K-1 process again? That's fast, to say the least.

It's not uncommon for people to fall in and out of love in a short period of time.

Two foreigners from the same country though, you have to be dedicated. Getting engaged is a bit more than falling in love. For some.

In Chemistry it is called an accelerant.

well love moves in mysterious ways. Besides i'm 31 already. no time for playing games and wasting time. I'm just lucky i moved on fast and falls in love with the right person. we all know how relationships are. if you guys broke up, it only means its not meant to be. it takes two to tango. Besides, my time has come that all i want is to have my own family and i'm just blessed that i found my perfect match after waiting for 30 years. i don't owe anyone an explanation especially that they don't know me or my life, some people just like to judge other people by only thinking of what ifs.

well unfortunately that's how relationships are. if 2 people don't last long enough obviously they're not meant to be. what can i do? i cant force people to stay and fight with me. everyone has a choice. he made his choice to leave. so i hope other people don't generalize people. everyone is not the same but everyone deserves a second chance to find their true love and happiness. just because a previous relationship failed, doesn't mean i don't have the chance to fall in love again. They can think whatever they want, i don't care, all i care is that i'm genuinely happy now with my fiancee.

Normally people can moved on from a heartbreak maximum of 3 months. More than 3 months that is something not quite normal. That' s according to psychologist. you can read the link https://www.glamour.com/story/how-long-should-it-take-to-get-over-my-ex And for the record i don't know someone who only had 1 serious relationship all their lives. I don't even know why people are questioning things like this i'm only here asking for the process of withdrawal of old K1 petition. That would have been great if you could tell me the process and information regarding this case and not judge people or question their personal decision with regards to their lovelife.

hmmm... i cant blame people to think like that. User-friendly people are everywhere in this world and because of their actions, poisons the mind of other people and their belief. i perfectly understand that the government needs to protect and catch these wicked user friendly people so they have this whole process, i strongly agree that everything should go through a process.

anyways for update. Seems like the whole process of withdrawing an old petition will take more or less 6 months. The Embassy will return the papers back to NVC and from NVC to USCIS. i guess i have to wait and do follow ups. We have done everything we could. The ex is also doing his part by sending original withdraw letters to USCIS and embassy. Hopefully we can also send another withdrawal letter to NVC and just hope for the best! Thank you LabOz for the details and advice. I appreciate your time and help.

for all i know both chemistry and biology should be present.

Sorry some people here are not providing helpful information but instead judgement.

You have a good outlook just hang on and it will fine. Plenty of people here to support us and work through this process.

It's not a fun process for anyone.

how long was it between the petitions. it may seem odd to uscis that you could fall out with one usc then fall in love with another so quickly that your willing to move to the us.

well, how can you start a family if you are not living together? isn't the purpose of K1 visa is for couples inlove to get married and start their own family?
