I was just curious...

I think i have seen it before.. That couples have made their own web page.. Can you make one as a venue to Show and give examples of your Relationship???? Would the embassy even look at it??

It seems to be a recurring thing.. That the interviewer already has their mind made up before they even get to the interview.. Sometime NOT even looking at the the photo's, bills, tickets, and other evidence at hand.

But what if you sent them a website address where that can look through stuff online.. seeing before the interview AND being able to access it multiple times..

I know I have on line slide shows of my trips... Pictures of the arrival/ departure.. Pictures of us - the things that we did... the wedding etc.

Has anyone ever offered this??? Do you think they would even look???

Do you expect that a CO will go through the hassle of looking on the Internet when they want you to provide the content to them so that have it in front of them and in there possession ...

YMMV

Better, I think, to put the pictures in a package; they can't ship the web from USCIS to the consulate, and while it's readily accessible, they can't put it in a file, and you certainly wouldn't want to hope that they have the time and Internet access to go through your photos.

why not , since they do intense home investigations asking the whole neighborhood

about the relationship in AP/AR. Also good evidence in case of a returned petition

for the DOS or USCIS or the CO. The more the better in case things don't go

smoothly. I know for a fact they do home calls so why not web site cruising !

That's not the issue. Webpages aren't static evidence. You can't put them in an envelope and say that USCIS and DOS evaluated the same package.

It's not evidence.

Think about it...what does a web site actually prove? (Nothing! Bingo..)

Take the energy required to create a site and use it to put together non-cyber evidence..

It's a good thought in general! Your parents, his parents, your friends, &c, will love to see the two of you happy and enjoying trips together. Just not, unfortunately, ideal for an interview. Would make some of it easier, if you could send them video of the two of you talking!

I wouldn't bother.

By all means make one if you and your boyfriend want it, but don't expect the US government to go to your website. Print the photos, show them to the gov't in person.

I have a blog that I posted things to along the way . . . it was for my family and friends as I don't generally advertise it to all and sundry except to include it on websites that I've registered on like VJ. Now, my website is fairly static . . . my blog gets updates several times a month depending on what I feel like posting. Lately, it hasn't had much immigration related posting going on for many reasons, but if you looked back thru the archives, you'd see pix of the marriage contract, etc.

FYI, for some reason, due to my blog, I also get miscellaneous enquiries from other egyptian men wanting me to help them with their visa applications, etc. I keep wondering why they aren't talking to their wives about this stuff, LOL!! I am not an expert and can only give basic advice. I do try to direct them to VJ if they haven't already found me thru this board!!

Oh, and NO, I wouldn't expect anyone at the consulate to go trolling looking for websites . . . i.e. just google my name and find out my life, hehe!! Anything can and will be manufactured to help a "cause" . . . do it for personal enjoyment but don't expect anything else.
