I'll try to word this the best way that I can. I just barely made over the 125% income requirement for the k1 visa ( by like 125$)

My fiance already sent in my completed i-134 form and they responded with packet 4 promptly.

My question here is, if there was any issue with insufficient income; would they simply mention it in the email, or would they wait until after you paid for your medical/visa and let you know at the interview?

I guess I just don't wanna go through all of that and spend that money just to end up not getting the visa anyway.. ya know?

Any issues will be addressed at the interview. If they feel you don't have sufficient current income, they'll give you the opportunity to provide more information or get a joint sponsor.

The visa fee is paid after the interview. I assume it's the same for a k-1, as the CO at the interview is really the one who looks through your papers and decide whether or not you should get the visa.

I've read on here that 125% over is 125% over. Even if it's $1. At least, that's what I'm hoping as I'm in the same boat. I make over 125% but not by much.

I've seen that the visa fee is paid before the interview. Unfortunately.
