Is anyone familiar with a G-56 'call in notice'? I've received one of these for New York after I made a service request on my I-485 AOS application. It says to go to the AOS unit, and reason for appointment is 'I-485 Interview' but I thought the standard interview request has a different form code and it doesn't mention anything about bringing my wife (I'll bring her anyway). I'm guessing this is to ask further questions about my application/relationship?

I would suggest you go with your wife and all documents as if you were appearing for the AOS interview. Though the G-56 is for additional evidence of your marriage, but to be safe, go with her and all necessary supplement documents to validate your marriage.

Good luck

Thanks both - yep I've not had my adjustment interview yet. I'll post back in here once I've had the interview, in case this comes up in future for others!

Turned out I was being called in for the full interview, had it on Monday and got approved...seems like USCIS sent out an automated request or something as both forms they asked about had already been received and approved
