Hello everyone,

I've been following this feed for a while now, and I've just decided to post now. My pd is July 3rd, and it's at California center, I heard it's the slowest center. I updated my case a couple of weeks ago because I became a citizen. I called Tuesday about checking if it was already updated and they said to call back when it's 30 days.

Nice to meet you all, and hopefully by February ending we will have happy people including me here.

Does anyone know if these July approvals are expedited cases? It seems awfully fast by current timeline standards, and I see many early July filers here who haven't been approved yet.

Hi folks,

I've been a follower of this thread since early August, but am first time poster here. My PD is July 24 at TSC

It appears that some of us July-ers are receiving our NOA2's, and it has definitely been a long time coming. I'm just curious about the road ahead post-NOA2. What kind of timeline are we looking at? Other threads are indicating another 2 months at NVC and a couple of months on top of that before interview. Is this accurate? Are we all looking at another 4ish months to interview?!

Welcome to the forum,

please one word of advise beforehand - create and update your timeline as we all benefit from that.

As for your question, it takes a while for the NVC to process the petition further. Currently up to six weeks and sometimes more but because you are going through the embassy in Frankfurt you are participating in the electronic upload system (CEAC? not sure if I recall this correctly) and others saw the NVC stage finished in days after the initial processing through the NVC. Meaning 4 months could be realistic but it all depends on when your NOA2 arrives and how long it takes to get processed at the NVC stage as well as how prepared you are to fill out all the relevant information immediately/have the requested documents ready.

I hope this helps.

thanks for the insight. So what you're saying is that I should expect, a minimum, another 4 months or longer to interview after receiving NOA2.

I'm not certain we'll being going through Frankfurt consulate. My partner holds German citizenship, but has been living in Singapore for over 5 years. My understanding is that Singapore is where his petition will end up.

Your estimated timeline dates will change as and when fellow forum members update theirs. Mine has gone forwards and backwards over the last few months of waiting.

Yes, you are correct. It is your residency that determines the US Embassy but I believe Singapore is also part of the new system but you may want to check this.
