Overstaying U.K. Visa, is this a problem?

Hi everyone,

 

My fiance is from Albania but has been living in the U.K. for 4 years without a visa, which is where we met. We will be going back to Albania soon together for me to meet his family and to begin the paper work for a K-1 visa. When putting together all of the K-1 forms and proof, will his being in the U.K. cause problems in getting accepted? I have many photos and tickets from our time together in the U.K. but I am unsure if I should include this in the packet or just include evidence from our time in Albania together.

 

If anyone has had this situation or has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

You can use documents and photos from your time together in the UK if you so wish, but if he's not legally present in the UK then he would only be able to interview and be approved in his home country (or a third country where he has legal presence).

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
