We send our application on May 6th , and it was delivered on Monday,  May 8th. But not like others who received the first notice really fast , we received the NOA1 on June 5th , but when we checked the status  online , they said they received on June 1st. So it took 3 weeks for us.

Dont know when we can get the second notice. My fiancée called the visa center, they said K1 visa takes 4-6 months, faster than before.

Is there someone also received the NOA1 on June ?

Thanks for sharing

have a nice day

If your NOA1 is dated June 2017, then join the June 2017 filers thread to follow the progress:

Between NOA1 and NOA2, it usually takes approximately 3 months. Sometimes it could be longer because of RFE, backlog, the speed of the adjudicator etc. So hang in there :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I think it's safe to say the average wait for NOA2 is 4 months right now. It could be less than that, and it can be more... Just get loads of patience for the wait and to deal with this whole process.

Good luck! :)

I have yet to receive the NOA1 OR NOA2. File was received February 9th, and approved June 9th. Fighting with USCIS now to atleast get the NOA2. For them to put so much faith into postal sysytems it's rediculous.

If you can visit in September then sure that will help you with the waiting. Focus on that deadline instead of NOA2 for now :)

Hope you can make it!

The overall processing times for I-129F's is five months. Keep that in mind, though.

Expect five, be happy with three.

You need patience for this process :) If you don't have it, you need to work on it or it will drive you crazy, simple.  No one likes to go months and months without seeing their loved ones. We've been long distance 10 months, at least 7-8 more to go, and we're already married. I didn't have a honeymoon. I've cried myself to sleep. I might not be with him for our first anniversary. Count your blessings, take a deep breathe and hope for the best. Regarding the B2 visa, if you want to try bring enough ties to your country and evidence that you're doing it legally. Getting denied won't harm your process, and you can only find out by trying. Good luck!
