*My fiance is in the Philippines and our case is cruising along! It was sent from the NVC yesterday! However, I need those who have BEEN THROUGH THE INTERVIEW to help me with something on my Affidavit of Support!

In 2014 and 2015 I was in college, so my 'total income' was about $16,000 (slightly above) for both years. However, in 2016, my 'total income' was around $29,000 - and my CURRENT annual income is around $49,000...

I realize I now make well above the poverty guidelines, but am unsure if I should include my other years tax information... I have been with the same company all along, but I was in college working part time (2014/2015) so the $16,000 worries me. I understand I am NOT required to include these, but need advice...

In Manila, am I better off including these - or just including my 2016 returns (along with my current annual salary which is much higher). I, of course, will get a letter from my employer and all of that stuff. I'm just wondering if including all 3 years worth of tax returns will hurt me more than help me. Thank you all so much!

*Also, when they say to include my taxes (copies) - do they just mean my W-2s? Sorry, a little confused there. Thank you!!

There is no harm including those previous tax transcripts with lower annual income. What matters most is your current expected annual income meets or is higher than the poverty guideline, which can be proven by your pay stubs and letter from your current employer :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
