CEAC non-immigrant status for DS-160/K1

When I check my immigrant status on CEAC it says Ready but when I check with my DS-160 number on non-immigrant it says no status. I send in my DS-160 1 week ago and they received the packet 3 from me last Friday (in my country we have to send the confirmation back). When does this non-immigrant status change? Is it after the visa approval? I thought you always checked the status under immigrant.

Thanks

There will be no update on your DS-160 until the embassy starts processing your K-1 visa application. Once you've done the interview, you'll see statuses like "administrative processing" and "issued". I have no idea if there are any other ones because my last DS-160 was a couple of years ago for my B2 :jest:

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
