My main comment was about how corporations are nessled in greed and throw themselves into submission whenever someone threatens their wallet.

Again, you may do with your business as you see fit. These large corporations, however, are not typically one man shows like your business would be (where you are the owner and the one who runs it). They are run by employees who have a fiduciary responsibility to those that have vested interests in said corporations.

By the way, I don't think that Imus should have been canned over the remarks he made. It's a bunch of hypocritical nonsense. But once the wallet is hit or there is reasonable fear that it would be, the execs of those corporations had no choice but to act.

They don't have the luxury that you have.

I love Russian and Ukrainian vodka! I am more than happy to drink either over any vodka here in the US! It's much smoother and better in many ways! Smirnoff, Kettle One, Grey Goose, etc. doesn't come close!

amen and i agree and drink to that...and armenia has the best cognac

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

True. You made very valid points. Good conversation my good man! And though, I didn't say it before, I do agree with you on most of the points you mentioned. A non-productive employee? Absolutely, I would send 'em down the road!

"Lok" or "Luk" is Russian for onion. It sounds similiar to "poke". I'm sure you already knew that. Just a new word for those didn't know ;)

Actually, I didn't (the only words I know of Russian are "Da" and "Nyet").

I only used "well, its logic/facts level is about same as that of 'The Onion' (of course, this was known true long before "The Onion" was even established).

Interesting development in this story........ they now fired the Producer of the show as well.. who actually instigated the entire messy situation according to the CBC! :) Nice one.... IMO accountablity was served.. Imus was just doing what he was paid to do.. be trashy and give the shock factor. If you want to fire someone it SHOULD be those who hired him in the first place.
