Adjustment of status through husband

Hi.. I am currently doing my research on how to adjust status through marriage here in the US. I have printed off all forms from http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

right now I'm just reading through all of the forms to get an understanding and to see what has to be included etc.

i have a lot of questions and just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction to any useful forums or anything.

I have been reading the instructions and it says on the I-485 that it can't be sent unless the petition has previously been accepted, but someone said to send the whole application away at once(all forms included in the step by step guid above).

also for the advanced parole is there only a certain amount of times you can travel with this and for a certain amount of time? What would you write for your reason, is visiting family enough of an explainatiOn as to why you'd be applying for this?

are there any helpful threads on here to help me with this or is there a way I can search the site?

sorry still quite new to this

You can follow they guide you link to it tells you what forms you need and so on.

Also there is this forum for those who adjust from a tourist visa that might help you better.

And otherwise everybody on VJ is very helpful with questions.

Fill in your profile and timelines so it'll be easier for us to help you.

Yes you can't be gone for what ever time you would like on AP. But yes you can visit your home country with it. I didn't write any reason on our AP.

I only came here on the visa waiver programme so I don't actually have a visa.

How do I update my timeline? We haven't yet filed anything

That's okay more so we can see country and so on.

But push on your name in the right upper corner and it gives you options :)
